1. Overview
DemoIt ("we," "us") wants you to be satisfied with our Service. This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for paid subscriptions purchased through our platform. All payments are processed by Kelviq, our merchant of record, and refunds are issued through Kelviq in accordance with this policy.
2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you are a first-time subscriber to a paid plan, you are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase, no questions asked. This applies to your first subscription period only.
To qualify for the 14-day money-back guarantee:
- You must be a first-time paying customer (not a returning subscriber).
- Your refund request must be submitted within 14 calendar days of the original purchase date.
- The guarantee applies once per customer, regardless of the plan selected.
3. EU Right of Withdrawal
If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from a digital purchase within 14 days of the transaction under the EU Consumer Rights Directive. By using the Service and beginning to access digital content (e.g., processing a recording), you acknowledge that you may lose this right of withdrawal once the digital content has been fully provided. We will honor withdrawal requests in accordance with applicable EU consumer protection law.
4. Subscription Renewals
Refunds are generally not provided for subscription renewals. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access to paid features until then.
If you believe you were charged for a renewal in error (e.g., you cancelled before the renewal date but were still charged), contact us and we will investigate and issue a refund if appropriate.
5. Consumed AI Minutes
AI minutes are consumed when DemoIt processes your recordings. Because AI processing incurs third-party costs at the time of use, consumed AI minutes are non-refundable. If a refund is approved under the 14-day guarantee or other provisions, the refund amount may be adjusted to account for AI minutes already consumed during the subscription period.
6. When Refunds Are Not Available
Refunds will generally not be issued in the following cases:
- Requests made more than 14 days after the initial purchase (for first-time subscribers) or after a renewal charge.
- Downgrade requests: if you switch to a lower-tier plan, the remaining balance is not refunded but may be credited toward future billing.
- Failure to use the Service: not using the Service during your billing period does not entitle you to a refund.
- Violations of our Terms of Service resulting in account suspension or termination.
7. How to Request a Refund

- The email address associated with your DemoIt account.
- Your Kelviq order or transaction number (if available).
- The reason for your refund request.
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days.
8. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed by Kelviq and returned to your original payment method. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or payment provider.
9. Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that exceptional circumstances arise. If you experience a significant service outage, a billing error, or another issue not covered above, please contact us. We review these cases individually and will work with you to find a fair resolution.
10. Free Plan
The free plan does not involve any charges and is therefore not subject to this Refund Policy.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice within the Service.
