What is a credit?

Do avatars and translations cost more?

They draw from the same credit pool. An avatar render adds ~1.25 credits/min at publish; a translation is a fresh voiceover at 1 credit/min. No separate meters to track.

Does changing the voice cost credits?

Only a little. Regenerating the voiceover — switching voice or rewriting the script — re-runs text-to-speech at 0.3 credits/min, about a third of the original draft cost. Unchanged segments reuse their cached audio for free, so a small tweak costs almost nothing.

Is publishing free?

Yes — a standard publish or re-publish is free. You only spend credits when AI runs: drafting, regenerating voice, avatars, or translations.

What happens when I run out of credits?

On Pro and Business you can keep going — extra usage is billed at the top-up rate ($1.00/credit on Pro, $0.90/credit on Business). On Free, AI processing pauses once your credits run out — upgrade to a paid plan to keep going.

Do unused credits roll over?

Your monthly plan credits reset at the start of each billing cycle and don’t carry over. Top-up credits you’ve purchased never expire and are used only after your monthly allowance runs out.

Can I switch plans anytime?

Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from your account settings whenever you like. Upgrades take effect immediately and refresh your credit balance to the new plan’s allowance; downgrades apply at the end of your current billing period.
